Our Breeding Program
As one of the MPPPA registered breeders in Australia, we have aimed to breed pretty stock with round bodies, lots of colour, and short snouts. All our stock have lovely friendly and curious natures. We do not keep any aggressive or excessively noisy pig.
My first mini pigs from NSW turned out to be very large and could not be bred, however, my favourite lines originated from LovMinis in Gympie with the flop-belly and curly-haired lines, and as time goes by, the offspring are progressively getting smaller. Toby is now my oldest boar and being a family pet is the only original stock left. I have tried to breed the long snout out and the size is coming down although introducing new blood lines often means introducing a larger pig and slowly breeding the size down again. Its a long but rewarding process. Some of my girls and boys have served me well and because they are now too big or too long nosed, they are in blissful retirement. I have other boars and sows up and coming to provide a good and varied genetic pool. My current smallest mature pig(over 2 years old) stands at 43cm.
Newly Introduced lines:
Olivia comes from a new line originating in NSW crossed with a LovMini.
I have also recently purchased a baby boar from Papa Smurfs in Tasmania and hope he will grow to be a good size.
