Pleasant Hills Mini Pigs is proud to be a member of the MPPPA (Miniature Pig & Pet Pig Association of Australia) and strictly abide by the regulations of the Ascociation. We sell our piglets desexed, vaccinated, wormed and ID'ed. From March 30, 2010, all breeding stock will be DNA tested and measured by an approved vet.

About MINI PIGS
Mini Pigs have been bred down from fully grown pigs. The term 'mini' can be misleading because they still can grow to a manageable weight of up to 70kg and still need a little room to move. However, this is small compared to an average pig, which will grow to 500kg. Mini pigs do not grow in height over 60cm (measured from hoof to shoulder).

It's all about size!
Currently we measure our pigs from the ground to the top of the shoulder blade once they are two years old – a mini pig should be under 60cm in height. The majority of my current stock are between 42 and 50cm at 3 years old. A Pleasant Hills Mini Pigs' bred piglet grows to between 30–50 kgs and 42cm–50cm. Please note, however, the wrong feeding regime can increase the size.
